Som ERASMUS- og NORDPLUS-student får du et månedlig stipend som et bidrag til å dekke ekstrakostnadene ved utenlandsstudiet. Stipendiet vil variere år for år etter hvor store bevilgninger høgskolen får. Anslagsvis kan vi si at studentene mottar:

* ERASMUS : 2 300,- pr. mnd.
* NORDPLUS:1 440,- pr. mnd.
- Såkornfinansiering er dominert av personlige nettverk, og du er ofte avhengig av å kjenne de rette personene sier Vidar Mortensen fra StartandRun.
I tillegg gir Lånekassen lån og stipend til alle som tar delstudier i utlandet, og som har fått utdanningen godkjent ved ved Høgskolen i Vestfold.
De ulike utdanningsinstitusjonene har ulike mandat og fordelingen av den produksjonsbaserte delen av finansieringen må derfor vektes ulikt. Vektingen skal gjenspeile oppgavene i mandatet til institusjonene. Samtidig skal det gis en forutsigbar basisbevilgning som skal sikre tilbud til studentene og arbeidsplasser til de ansatte uavhengig av konjunktursvingninger. Finansieringsmodellen skal også ta høyde for at noen studier er dyrene enn andre å drive og kostnadene med praksis må inkluderes her.
Dersom du reiser utenfor et program, men til institusjoner som høgskolen har avtale med som krever skolepenger, kan du søke om ekstra stipend og lån fra lånekassen.

  Som landets eldste formidler av forbrukslån har Telefinans i løpet av de siste 22 årene fått innvilget mer enn 3 milliarder kroner i forbrukslån som våre kunder har brukt til det de selv har ønsket. I tillegg er det formidlet et betydelig antall billån og en del boliglån.
  En plassering i Rambøllrapportens O1 (Granåsen, Jakobsli) vil med denne forutsetning trolig være riktigere. Rambøllrapportens snittpriser for de to områdene er kr 2 800 pr m2 i kategori O2 og kr 3 100 pr m2 i kategori O1.
  Forskningsrådet tilbyr stipend til yngre forskarar og studentar som planlegg studieopphald i utlandet. Tilboda gjeld 22 ulike land og kan vare frå kortare sommaropphald til eitt år. Dei fleste stipend til studie- og forskingsopphald i utlandet under dei såkalla kulturavtalane (statsstipend og sommarstipend) har søknadsfrist 1. oktober eller 1. desember. It’s a single track of 21 minutes and 30 seconds of droning guitars and etc. Really nice stuff and great value as an eMusic download, if you’re the kind of person who uses eMusic.

I’ve written about 12k records and Taylor Deupree previously, and this week in the mail arrived a another record from the New York label, this time Australian three-piece Seaworthy’s Map in Hand. Straight from the 12k Web site:

Seaworthy, a three piece collective that revolves around core member Cameron Webb as well as Sam Shinazzi and Greg Bird, was formed in early 2000 to explore melodic and experimental approaches to the construction (and unravelling) of minimalist sound scapes from looped guitar, warm drones, piano, electronics and field recordings.

There were more than a few emails objecting to Dave Marsh’s objection to the Ventures going into the Hall of Fame in 2008.us forgot to run the Marsh disclaimer with those quotes, “The views of Mr. Marsh are not necessarily the view of the reporter, or the Detroit News.”

Jim Meloche wrote: “I agree with Dave Marsh that there are countless groups and people who do not deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame…but the most succesful instrumental group of all time (still touring with all of the living original members as recently as two years ago) deserved to be in a long time ago.”

Even the Ventures’ manager, who, it turns out, lives in Farmington Hills, weighed in.

Jack De Franco objected to Dave M.’s objection to the Ventures going into the Hall of Fame. “The original 3 guitar players are still active.us still tour.us still record. 2008 is our 50th anniversary.”

Bill Taylor, a former Detroiter now living in Cleveland, was another voice affirming the Ventures’ right to be inducted. “The influence them had on later rock guitarists is profound. Even Clapton has admitted that.”

So there are arguments to been made against both those candidates, though the mere presence of an argument-against in baseball shouldn’t bring the thought to an end (and it shouldn’t in non-baseball endeavors either — you can’t just reject every chance to improve that might not work out — a classic management blunder in any field).

While either of those choices might have arguments against them, there were other first basement in the Negro Leagues who could hit. Bob “The Rope” Boyd was good enough to make that League’s West all-star te, though while he hit up a storm, he wasn’t a wallbanger. He was good enough though to go on to a major league career. The best fit for the Tigers was Lennie Pearson, the East’s all-star first baseman, a heavy hitter, and at 31 years old, in the prime for power. Pearson wasn’t a sl-dunk, either — when he made to the minors two years later, her was good enough to play, but not exceptional, though that doesn’t speak to his skills for ‘49. That year he led the Cuban league in doubles and slugged 11 homers in a little under half a season’s worth of at bats (280), batted .332 for the Negro Leagues’ chpion Baltimore Elite Giants. That doesn’t guarantee he’d have been a star for the Tigers, but it makes it inexcusable that they didn’t give him a tryout — by no measure could anyone have considered they could get less production out of 1st base with Pearson than the Tigers ultimately got with Cpbell, Vico and the utility infielder they acquired in May and used largely at first .best guitar string

The reason the Tigers didn’t give Easter an offer, or Leonard or Pearson a tryout was not about potential talent - it was a complete blindness to the possibility that these players could have have made a positive difference. And that regardless of how big that elephant on the table was. It didn’t matter that the A.L. was already integrated — the Tigers’ front office couldn’t even discuss the possibility of recruiting talent from the Negro Leagues or Cuba…and acquiring talent to become better is not the core need and the core function of the front office.

In baseball, whatever doesn’t make you stronger kills you. The lack of power combined with a thinness in pitching after the starters “condemned” the 1949 Tigers to 4th place with a perfectly-fine 8 ge improvement over the previous year’s effort.
