Da er det avgjort; jeg kommer ikke til å fullføre Robert A. Heinleins The Number of The Beast! Det finnes alt for mange gode bøker og alt for liten tid til å lese dem - selv om det føles litt rart å slutte midt i en historie, så er det egentlig bare idiotisk å fortsette å sløse bort verdifull tid på den måten. Så nå havner denne super-irriterende historien i bunken med bøker som jeg aldri klarer å fullføre - sammen med f.eks. Olaf Stapledons Last And First Men (“No book before or since has ever had such an impact on my imagination” - Arthur C. Clarke) og John Brunners Stand On Zanzibar.
Siden de ofte tømmer hele asteriodebelter for ressurser og dumper dem på markedet, er de ikke særlig populære. Mange er såpass irriterte at de leter opp makroere for å drepe dem ut av spillet gjentatte ganger inntil de gir opp og logger av.

Muligens fordi de er flinkere til å yttrykke seg med symboler enn oss, men kanskje har de også et annet forhold til emotikoner generelt.
